Fourie de Kock (Boland President) received the chapter certificate from Hannes Wentzel (National President) one sunny afternoon in October 2015 in Porterville.
2025 RIDES
19 January - "Die Moerse Padstal"
The Ulysses Boland and Whale Coast chapters kicked off 2025 with a ride on Sunday, 19 January.
Meeting in Caledon, our group of 10 bikes, including 3 pillions, set off for Napier and breakfast at "Die Moerse Padstal." The delicious roosterkoek breakfast was a perfect start to the day.
Dawie, our road captain, led the ride, taking us on a scenic journey through the picturesque towns of Elim, Baardskeerdersbos and Gansbaai to Hermanus. Warren and Angelique, our new media team, captured the excitement with photos and videos of our bikes.
The roads were blissfully quiet, a welcome respite from the holiday. We had some refreshments at The Boys' Club in Hermanus, before beginning our homeward journey. For some of our Boland riders, the day's adventure totalled an impressive 350 to 550 km.
It was a great day on the road!
